Aishwarya Rai has left Mumbai to shoot for Hollywood film The Last Legion in Tunisia where she will join actors Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley in her first major international project.

Reports say that the movie will be a big production venture with a budget close to $70 million. 

Although Ash has so far acted in Gurinder Chadha’s Bride and Prejudice , Paul Berges’ under-production Mistress of Spices and Jagmohan Mundhra’s in-the-making Provoked, none of these films can be called Hollywood ventures in true sense.

Last Legion will be set during the fall of the Roman Empire. Ash plays the female lead in the movie.

Aishwarya Rai says she has been getting acting offers from Hollywood regularly. The last offer she got was to do the latest Will Smith comedy Hitch. However, she could not do the movie because her schedule is already busy with projects back home.
