Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai will play Rajmata Gayatri Devi in a bio-pic by filmmaker J P Dutta.
JP Dutta has chosen one such stunningly beautiful subject, Rajmata Gayatri Devi, the maharani of Jaipur for his forthcoming film.
Ash gave her nod to Dutta at a meeting with the Rajmata on her birthday. Aishwarya Rai is shooting in London for Jagmohan Mundhra's "Provoked".
The Rajmata is keen on the film depicting the trials and tribulations of her life. The film is likely to be made in Hindi and English. It will be shot in Cooch Behar where she was born, besides Jaipur and London. She's very happy that Aishwarya Rai will be playing her.

It seems Aishwarya hasn’t been informed that she is being dropped from the film, she told the press in Amsterdam (where she was attending the IIFA events) that she needed to get back to Mumbai in time to shoot for Rohan’s film. The project co-stars Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar while Nana Patekar will play the guru. Filming is due to start before the summer.
The subject is contentious in India, where charismatic religious leaders, often claiming supernatural powers, become wealthy thanks to their hordes of disciples.
